There is nothing interesting in this post. I just wanted to get rid of the generic HELLO WORLD thing and prove to the universe that I am indeed going to write things in this blog.
Basically, this blog is for my ICS 2102 class—all about media living. Here, I’m going to be talking about the types of media I experience in day-to-day life, while incorporating class content. I’m going to do my best to be interesting but, well, that may not happen.
Since this is my first post, I don’t have much to say. Hopefully future posts will be longer. However, while I have your attention, I’m going to make a prediction about my media consumption for the next semester, in order of most consumed to least:
-Internet (includes email, watching TV shows/anime, chatting with people, reading news articles, etc.)
-Music (CD’s, iPod, computer, but not the radio because most music of today’s generation is terrible)
-Video games (generally on weekends)
-TV (I never watch TV anymore–thank you, internet)
-Other random snippets of media that I’m sure I’ll encounter at some point in my life but probably won’t happen very frequently
This is what I’m expecting in the future. Will it change? Possibly. However, I’m sure the internet will remain the number one source.
This post is also experimenting with how I should write these blogs. Hopefully I’m doing it right.
Anyway, that’s about it for today. I should think of something witty to insert at the end of all my posts.
